Niki Tiganitaki is the founder and director of “EN ROI” Dance School in Athens, as well as the owner of “NTL Dance School” Ballet School in Larisa. In the 90’s she organized the examinations of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing in Central and Northern Greece.
She got a degree from the “Sofi Katsouli” Higher Dance School and is also graduate of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and the University Durham of United Kingdom in the classical ballet philosophy, dance medicine, education and dance psychology. She is a tutor and instructor of modern dance of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) with a licentiate degree in modern dance. Moreover, Niki Tiganitaki is an accredited teacher of Contemporary Dance of the Contemporary Dance Association, as well as graduate of the French method Barre Astié and the American Zena Rommett Barre Floor. Having obtained a degree in dance teaching for children and adolescents by Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance England, she has also been trained in the teaching of expressive dance to children with special needs (Autism Movement Therapy Provider) and to people with physical disabilities. In her 30 years of experience she has taught children, boys and girls, adolescents, adults and elderly people. She is a member of the Association of Dance School Owners in Greece (Σ.Ι.Σ.Χ.Ε.), UNESCO (CID member), Association of Dance and Rhythmic Gymnastics, Greek Council of the Royal Academy of Dance in London, Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and Dance U.K. Niki is also a choreographer with rich volunteering work in the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Larisa as well.
