Some words about En Roi

“EN ROI” is a fully renovated new dance school offering services of high European standards with a comfortable and functional environment properly soundproofed, with acoustics. It is recognized by the Ministry of Culture, accredited by UNESCO, serves as an examination center of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), the Spanish Dance School (SDS), the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), and the Contemporary Dance Association (CDA). Niki Tiganitaki -BPHIL (HONS), LISTD, AISTD, RADDD and ISTD tutor- is the director of the dance school.

Our aim is the dancing, musical and aesthetic culture of our students, the qualitative educational approach and the cultivation of love for the Art of dance, as well as Art in general. Dance studies prepare children by the age of 3 to build a strong personality with high aesthetic criteria. For this reason, we cooperate with internationally recognized educational institutions which grant study certificates after exams, giving the chance of entering with some priority academic institutions in foreign countries.

Spanish Academy seminar
The Spanish Academy seminar was successfully completed again this year in Greece, in our Dance School “En Roi”! The examiners, Euan Trinder and Youla Pappas, the teachers, Inmaculada Ortega and Javier Palacios and the students will never forget this experience! From 2016 to 2017!

“You have treated arts as the cherry on the cake. It needs to be the yeast”. With this phrase in her Ted talk, internationally known Mallika Sarabhai, activist and dancer of Indian classical dance, is addressing to governments, planners of the world, economists, and strategists. She is wondering why not use the art language that has consistently showed us that we can break down barriers and reach people with it.

In our school “En Roi” we change the world by inspiring and cultivating our students’ imagination. It is the love and passion for dance art as a means of expression, education and life change that is leading us to create qualitative actions, trainings and collaborations.

2016 was a year rich in collaborations, events and seminars. Our first Dance Night was completed with great success and emotion, our school was inaugurated, some seminars by the Contemporary Dance Association and the Association of Spanish Dance were organized, we planted herbs (summertime dried everything but… we ‘ll try again), we celebrated Christmas with our little students and were educated in the field of Health Education. We would like to thank all of you, parents, students and collaborators for your love, trust and your contribution to our work. May 2017 be a year full of dance and smiles!
