Modern dance is a rhythmic dance style originated in the U.S.A. before travelling to the rest of the world. It is usually part of musicals productions as it is known for its theatrical qualities.
This dance style incorporates traveling steps, high kicks, leaps and turns that require strength and flexibility. It is considered to be a highly energetic dance style.
